Meet Our Entrepreneurs!!!

DivineEndings.com has been busy, busy, busy with Making Christian Connections amongst our Entrepreneurship community! During the month of August 2010, the DivineEndings.com Gift Store in Hanover, MA hosted a series of Vendor/Craft Fairs every Saturday during August.  It was a tremendous event and I am so happy to have met and connected with all the vendors that made an effort to come out and share their unique businesses with us!!!

As a benefit for attending this event, DivineEndings.com gave each vendor the opportunity to have their businesses featured on the website to further support and help these vendors reach a greater audience online!!!

Right now, you can Meet Our Entrepreneurs by viewing our recorded interviews that have been posted on the Entrepreneurs Loop page of our DivineEndings.com website. The next time you are in the market for products or services, please remember our local entrepreneurs that may be able to assist you with your business or personal shopping needs!!!

This month we were also fortunate to have an interview with one of our local organizations Educated Ladies Empowered to Change, also known as ELEC, Inc. Please check out the interview on our Entrepreneurs Loop page to learn more about this great organization!!!

Divine Date Nights: "Married Edition"Divine Date Nights: Married Edition 1

This one goes out to all the newbie’s, newlyweds, and all those looking to do some new and exciting things in your love life :)

After being married for the last two years, yes I am fresh and new to the married club, my husband and I have just been bum barred with crazy schedules, job changes, and the great coming together of our very large families and making time for them all. Just to add, after two years, we still get the #1 question of all newlywed time, “SO, when’s the baby coming?” and now that it’s been two years, I thought people would just forget about it…what was I thinking?!?! NEXT… ;)

Anyway, how many of you can understand where I am coming from? And for the married veterans out there, you can probably agree that the busyness of life will always be there, especially when the kids do come, so we must work with it and get creative!!! Our lives, tomorrow, and the next days are not promised to any of us.  What we have is today, so we should try our hardest to not put off time to far in the future, but plan ways to spend quality time together within at least a week time span!  This way when you thank God for bringing you through another week, you can also thank Him for the time you had with your spouse that week as well!!  My husband and I are still juggling our crazy schedules and instead of waiting for a vacation or the next unforeseen moment to spend time together, we have made it a priority to incorporate some planned “Date Nights” into our lives.

You can get so creative with date nights and make them just as simply or magnificent as you want them to be!!! You do not have to plan date nights every week, but discuss with your spouse what works best for the both of you and determine the type of ways you want to have fun together!!!  This series of Divine Date Nights: “Married Edition” will help you with planning some great nights you can recreate and modify for your own night of fun!

"Say Cheese"Get Started Now:

The First Date Night I will be sharing is “Flash Forward”. This date night is going to be a staple in the beginning, or a new chapter in your journey of love!

Materials Needed:

Camera (Preferably Disposable)
Approx. $15

Instructions:

1. Bring the camera and Have Fun! This activity all about being your own photographer and capturing the moment. Let this be a time to take some memorable photos of each other while spending quality time together.

Suggested Activities:

A. Take a Walk Through the Park and stop a spots that have beautiful backgrounds, sunset, a waterfall, or fresh flowers. Be adventurous, take turns posing, let someone take pics of the two of you together in front of your chosen background.

B. Drive around your city and take photos of places you and your spouse share a memory. For example places you had your first kiss, where you met, went to school together, the places where each of you grew up, and more!!

2. GO GET YOUR DISPOSABLE CAMERA DEVELOPED! As simple as this seems lots of us just let those photos sit on our digital cameras forever or never remember to take the disposable camera to get develop for another six months, so just complete this memory today by dropping it off at your nearest photo center and let this be the beginning of new memories for the two of you!!!

3. DONE!!! Now it’s up to one of you to find a photo album to use for your new photos.

Extra Credit:

If you really want to go the extra mile, one of you can pick up the photos and before you both look at them together, insert the photos into your photo album and set a dinner date.  After dinner, pull out the album and look through it together! For the pictures that hold a shared memory, write what that memory is and the date on the back of the photo!

This “Flash Forward” Date Night was thought of by yours truly :)

Stay Tuned…
